Best Books for Storytime About Monsters

My 8-year-old neice, Megan, drew this creature on a piece of paper. I cut it out and we traced it onto a T-shirt and colored it in with puffy paint.

Monster Lunch
Once upon a time, there was a monster, and he was very, very hungry…

This monster ate a monster lunch,
Of monster pie, with monster punch

He munched upon a monster plum,
This monster rubbed his monster tum

 He licked a monster lollipop,
And drank a can of soda pop

He chomped a piece of monster cake -
 And got a monster stomachache!

Shape Monster

Shape Monster, Shape Monster
Munch, munch, munch
What would you like to eat for your lunch?
