Bananas for Lunch
A fat little monkey had bananas for lunch,
He peeled and he ate them - munch, munch

One banana, two bananas, three bananas, four...
He ate and he ate, but he wanted more

He peeled and he ate, and he peeled and he ate
Five bananas, six bananas, seven bananas, eight

He peeled two more and continued to munch
And before he knew it, he ate the whole bunch!

Five Little Monkeys Jumping On The Bed
Five little monkeys jumping on the bed.
One fell off and bumped his head.
Mommy called the doctor and the doctor said,
"No more monkeys jumping on the bed."

Five Little Monkeys Teasing Mr. Crocodile

Five little monkeys swinging on a tree
Teasing Mr. Crocodile, "You can't catch me!"
Along comes Mr. Croc, as quiet as can be
And SNAPPED that monkey right out of that tree!

I'm A Little Monkey
*Tune of: I'm a Little Teapot
I'm a little monkey, watch me play
Munching on bananas every day
I have a little friend to play with me
Watch us climb right up the tree

Itsy Bitsy Monkey ~ Mommy version
The itsy bitsy monkey climbed up the coconut tree
Down came a coconut and bopped him on the knee
Along came his Mommy, who kissed away the pain
And the itsy bitsy monkey climbed up the tree again.

Itsy Bitsy Monkey ~ Lion version
The itsy bitsy monkey climbed up the coconut tree
Down came a coconut and bopped him on the knee
Along came a lion, shaking his mighty mane
And the itsy bitsy monkey climbed up the tree again.

Monkey, Monkey, Turn Around
Monkey, monkey, turn around
Monkey, monkey, touch the ground
Monkey, monkey, dance on your toes

Monkey, monkey, give a little clap
Monkey, monkey, take a nap!

Way up high in the banana tree,
Five little bananas smiled at Monkey
He shook that tree as hard as he could,
Down fell a banana. It was good!

What can a monkey see from a tree?
I see you, and you see me
Let's look for something in the room that starts with our Letter of the Day
